Cake Smash

Is your child about to turn one? Let's celebrate with a CAKE SMASH!

First we take some portrait photos and parent portraits (with you!) while your little one is still clean and icing-free.

Next we put the cake in front of your child and see what happens! I will be ready to capture tentative finger dips, full on smash face and any gorgeous moments in between. Sometimes the birthday baby will need some encouragement to have a taste but others just get straight in there with no hesitation.

After the cake has been demolished we will get your little one into a bathing suit to have a warm bubble bath. This is an opportunity to wash off the cake but also capture some more precious expressions or bubble popping.

A cake smash is a special way to celebrate the milestone of the first birthday. Many families use the photos from the cake smash for their child's first birthday invitations and/or social media post.
